Cooperative Spine Care:

What is it? Cooperative spine care refers to two or more health professionals who work together to preserve or restore spinal integrity while prioritizing the patients well being. May require complex care of more than one spine specialist. Candidates for cooperative spine care include individuals who:

  • Have multiple uses to the spine to varying degrees
  • Are not responding to a conservative approach
  • Require medication and physical medical approach
  • Have progressive neurological compromise
  • Have a complicated spinal condition
  • Have failed to respond to surgery
